Information we use

We use your email and account ID for sign-in. You can add family members, events, locations, tasks, lists, recipes, training plans and notes. We also store responsibilities, read confirmations, reminders and notification preferences. Enabling notifications stores a technical address for delivering notifications to your device.

Purpose and sharing

Information is used to provide the app, share content with your chosen family, send selected notifications, provide support and protect the service. Shared entries are visible to family members. Content marked private is restricted to your account. We do not sell personal data or use advertising trackers in the app.

Legal basis

Accounts, storage and sharing are necessary to provide the service you request under GDPR Article 6(1)(b). Security and error logs are based on our legitimate interest in a safe, functioning service under Article 6(1)(f). An email address is required for an account; you choose other content and notifications. We do not use the information for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

Storage and providers

Weekzet uses Supabase for accounts and the database, and Netlify for the app and server functions. The beta’s primary database is in the EU. Email and push notifications are also processed by delivery providers. Technical logs may include IP addresses, timestamps and errors. Connections to the services are encrypted. Encryption does not prevent necessary providers or invited family members from processing content.

Service providers may process information outside the EEA, including for email and notification delivery and technical operations. Contact us for information about recipients and transfer safeguards. You can request restriction of processing and object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Retention and your choices

Family content is stored so you can use it over time. You can edit content, change notifications and request deletion of your account and personal data. You must delete backups you downloaded yourself. Contact us about access, correction, deletion, export or questions about processing and retention. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

Sign-in emails from Resend

We use Resend to send registration and sign-in emails from noreply@mail.weekzet.com. Resend processes the recipient’s email address, email content including the sign-in link and one-time code, and delivery logs on our behalf. Email content and logs are stored in the United States for 30 days. Emails are sent via Ireland; this does not mean that storage is in the EU. We have disabled open and click tracking. Resend’s data processing agreement includes EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EEA. Ask us for a copy or more information about these safeguards.
